What to expect on your tour
Tours typically take between 1.5 and 2 hours and you are welcome to take photos throughout the tour. Tours begin with a walk through the garden and continue inside the house, and Ted tells the stories himself.
Plan your visit
Where: 1503 Baker Street, Streator, IL 61364, about 25 minutes from Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks. Park on the street in front of the house.
When: tours start at 10 am and 2 pm, seven days a week, April through October. Arrive a few minutes early.
Getting in: press the call box at the front gate and a guide will come meet you. No reservation needed for groups under 15.
Cost: $15 per adult. Buy tickets online ahead of time, or pay at the gate (cash preferred; checks accepted).
Walking: the garden paths are crushed stone and the house has stairs between its three floors, so wear comfortable shoes. Email us ahead if anyone in your party has limited mobility and we will plan the route.
Stay overnight: the Weber Guest House sits inside the garden and sleeps six. After the last tour leaves, the two acres are yours.
Buy tickets in advance
Skip the cash at the gate: choose your tour date and time, pay by card or Apple Pay, and show the receipt email when you arrive. Tickets are $15 per adult, up to 14 per order. Questions, larger groups or a change of plans? Email officialweberhouseandgarden@gmail.com.
Small Groups
If you are planning a house and garden tour with a smaller group, roughly fewer than 15 people, you do not need to call in advance. Simply call 815-510-0627 when you arrive at the front gate, and a guide will meet you there.
Large Groups
For larger tour groups—such as bus tours or large garden clubs—advanced notice is appreciated but not required. Depending on the size of your group, we may divide in two, and have one half start with the house and the other half start with the garden. Use the request form below and we will confirm a date with you.
